L.M. Elliott was a Washington-based magazine journalist covering women's issues and the arts before becoming a New York Times bestselling novelist. Her novels explore a variety of time periods, including WWII, the Cold War, and the American Revolution, and have won a number of national awards. Elliott holds a BA from Wake Forest University and a Masters in journalism from UNC Chapel Hill. She is a lifelong Virginia resident and history-lover.
Leslie Connor is the author of several award-winning books for children, including two ALA Schneider Family Book Award winners, Waiting for Normal and The Truth as Told by Mason Buttle, which was also selected as a National Book Award finalist. Her other books include All Rise for the Honorable Perry T. Cook, Crunch, and her newest book, A Home for Goddesses and Dogs. She lives in the Connecticut woods with her family and three rescue dogs.
